"Earlier detection, earlier treatment, better visual outcomes"
Patients with dry AMD are at greater risk for developing the wet form of AMD, in which abnormal blood vessels develop beneath the macula. These vessels can cause devastating loss of central vision, sometimes within just a few weeks. Fortunately, there are a number of effective treatments for wet AMD, which work best if given early in the course of the disease.
ForeseeHome is the first FDA-approved home monitoring device clinically proven to identify even the smallest changes in your vision. When used daily, the ForeseeHome Monitor detects these changes before you notice them yourself, and allows your doctor to monitor your vision for any changes that take place between regularly scheduled exams.
The ForeseeHome Data Monitoring Center provides you with timely alerts to vision changes so that a follow-up appointment can be scheduled.
If you suffer from dry AMD, you should consult your ophthalmologist to determine if this program is right for you.
